For many patients, facing a cancer diagnosis is easier when they have others by their side. Our support groups and wellness programs connect you and your caregivers with helpful information and people in similar situations. These services provide you with a place to turn when you need guidance or just a friendly ear, enhance your quality of life and ease your cancer journey.
The CINDY Bertuch Rosencrans Life Expressions program is part of Lynn Cancer Institute’s support services. Our team helps with the many emotions, questions, choices and challenges people with all stages of cancer and their families face. The program places particular emphasis on advance care planning and supporting end-of-life care.
Our oncology financial counselors are available to help guide you through the often-challenging aspects of dealing with insurance providers. If you’re an international patient, uninsured or underinsured, the counselor can also provide a cost estimate once your treatment plan has been recommended, along with payment details. Please be aware that self-pay patients must provide a deposit before receiving services. For your convenience, you may make payments via cash, personal check or credit card.
Lynn Cancer Institute was built on the principle that the best cancer care requires united, single-minded efforts of physicians, staff, patients and their families. That’s why the League of Ribbons brings together the talent, heart and dedication of people who support the Institute and its mission to stand empowered against cancer. The League of Ribbons funds a variety of services, such as:
Getting the right nutrition is especially important when you’re receiving cancer treatment. But the side effects of treatment can sometimes make eating well tricky. Our registered dietitians and dietary resources give you the nutritional information you need to help keep your body functioning well and keep you feeling good before, during and after treatment.
Exercise can help you feel stronger and more physically fit before, during and after your cancer treatment. Performing moderate exercises several times a week is safe and offers several benefits. It boosts your energy, improves your mental health and helps limit cancer treatment-related weight gain.
