Interventional Neuroradiology Treatments We Offer
Every interventional neuroradiology treatment is minimally invasive. For these procedures, we insert a small tube called a catheter into a blood vessel in your wrist or groin and use advanced imaging guidance to thread it to the problem spot in your brain.
We offer a wide variety of interventional neuroradiology treatments, including:

Like the treatment used for cardiac arteries, this procedure widens blood vessels or arteries to lower the risk of blockages.

This treatment inserts small metal coils to help clot your aneurysm. This stops blood flow to the aneurysm to prevent rupture.

For this procedure, your interventional neuroradiologist will use X-ray imaging to view the blood vessels in your brain. They may also inject you with contrast dye to make it easier to see the structure of your blood vessels.

These procedures block blood flow. They are used to treat arteriovenous malformations, brain aneurysms, the middle meningeal artery and vascular malformations.

For this procedure, your interventional neuroradiologist will place a catheter in your brain to remove the blood clot that’s causing the stroke.

In this procedure, your interventional neuroradiologist threads a tiny balloon through a catheter in the blood vessels in your brain. They inflate the balloon to widen the blood vessels and increase blood flow.
