Who We Are
We’ve been an international cardiovascular leader since 1987. Renowned interventional radiologist Barry T. Katzen, M.D., established the Institute as one of the first facilities to treat the heart and blood vessels as a single system. We paired that approach with innovative research and cutting-edge technologies and techniques to quickly earn a worldwide reputation for excellence.
Today, we are the largest, most comprehensive heart and vascular institute in South Florida. Our team of multidisciplinary providers are trailblazers who bring you the most up-to-date care. We’ve developed new technologies to treat aneurysms, vein and artery blockages and holes in the heart. Whenever possible, we use minimally invasive techniques to shorten your hospital stay and recovery time. And as multilingual providers, we can clearly answer any questions you have. So, you can be confident you’ll receive exceptional care when you come to us.
