How Support Groups Help
When you have cancer, participating in a support group may:
- Give you a chance to talk about your feelings and work through them
- Help you cope with side effects of treatment
- Help you deal with practical problems, such as problems at work or school
- Help you feel better, more hopeful and not so alone
Brain Fitness Lab
The Brain Fitness Lab at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute focuses on your cognitive health and well-being. Our goal is to prevent cognitive problems like memory loss and concentration difficulties that may occur as a result of cancer and its therapy, and to restore cognitive abilities if these problems develop. We offer assessment, diagnosis and treatment to help you take charge of your cancer and function better.
