We have many opportunities for everyone to be involved here at First Baptist Church.

Kids

Your child’s safety is our highest priority as we minister to them

Nurseries

We offer nursery for infants to 3 year olds. Just remember, our team will need a few minutes to register your child and get them started on a great experience.

Sunday School

Children’s Sunday School provides boys and girls an opportunity to grow in their understanding of Jesus through age appropriate teaching, singing, and activities.

Children’s Church

If you arrive with kids, we have a special children’s program for boys and girls during the worship service for ages 4 through grade 6. Each child receives a unique biblical instruction consistent with their age. Just remember, our team will need a few minutes to register your child and get them started on a great experience.

Awana

AWANA is an exciting children’s ministry that features exciting Bile lessons, scripture memory, and fun activities. Wednesday night clubs for ages 3 to 6th grade that begin at 6:30

Summer Camp

Boys and girls entering grade four through grade six have the opportunity to attend a Christian camp. They will enjoy wholesome activities. The teaching and preaching is designed to help growth in their spiritual life.

Bus Ministry

We offer to pick up your children for our services on our bus. Safety is our highest priority and all of our drivers are qualified to drive.

YOUTH

Building a passion to serve Jesus as youth is our goal.

Teen Group

Our goal here at FBC is to provide an environment for our teenagers to engage in a real and dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. Ages 13-18 meet weekly at 6:30pm on Wednesdays.

Activities

Our youth group involves itself in regular youth activities and in serving opportunities in which our teens have fun and fellowship while building lasting relationships that honor God.

Summer Camp

Teens have an opportunity to attend summer camp each year. This is an exciting time that is designed to help them take the next spiritual step.

Adults

We strive to develop relationships with each other as we grow closer to God.

Adult Bible Fellowships

Our adult small groups meet each Sunday at 9:45 am. This is a time of interactive study of God’s Word. These small groups provide encouraging fellowship with other believers.

Ladies Ministries

-Ladies Bible Study that meets each Sunday at 9:45 am

-Ladies Fellowship meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm

-Special events like the Christmas Fellowship and Ladies/Girls Tea are conducted through out the year.

-Retreats to get away and grow spiritually.

Men’s Ministries

-Faithful Men Breakfast meets the second Saturday of each month at 8 am

-Retreats

-Outreach meals. Our men prepare a barbeque and Brunswick stew meal each year as an outreach to the community.

We are striving to take the gospel to every person.

Local Outreach

The Bible commands us to share the good news of the gospel of Christ to the world, but sometimes we don’t know where to start. We want every one of our members to know how to share this amazing news with others! There will be many opportunities to go out and invite others to experience First Baptist Church.

Missions

FBC supports missionaries who are taking the gospel of Christ throughout the world. These missionaries are supported through and sent by local independent Baptist churches. The members of First Baptist Church have made the financial support of global evangelization a high priority.
